Introduction:UK Marks & Spencer (M & S) has been in cooperation with universities, chemical manufacturers, machine manufacturers and dye-works, the development of innovative methods for Martha products.

 UK Marks & Spencer (M & S) has been in cooperation with universities, chemical manufacturers, machine manufacturers and dye-works, the development of innovative methods for Martha products.So now Martha supply chain to reduce environmental pollution, for example, the use of cold pad-batch dyeing, in the process, with an average 50% reduction in water consumption, 30% reduction in carbon, 1.3 million kinds Martha cold pad-batchstaining. UK Marks & Spencer (M & S) recently teamed up with Greenpeace published a set of new chemicals commitment.

 
 
The new commitments include: Start a dye house alkylphenol ethers (APEOs) training and education programs to help strengthen the the the APEO Martha ban, enacted in 1998. To strengthen and improve the the PFCs management of the M & S supply chain, including the commitment to eliminate all use of PFC in July 2016; an experiment in five factories in China, to assess the feasibility of publicly disclosed the dyer chemical emissions data; continue chemicals policy and commitment for the review and update the M & S does not allow the future of any harmful chemicals. The complete ECP and M & S the RSL has been published as part of the agreement with Greenpeace.
 
New commitments involving the safe use of chemicals in textile production.
